About The Position
As the sun sparkles over a palm-fringed oasis in South Carolina, the pool bartender becomes part mixologist, part magician, and part unofficial vacation therapist—shaking up jewel-toned cocktails that taste like summer dreams while effortlessly remembering who prefers extra lime and who simply needs a smile with their sparkling water. With a knack for storytelling and a sixth sense for when a guest’s glass is nearing empty, they glide between cabanas and loungers like a breeze off the Atlantic, maintaining a pristine bar that gleams like the resort itself, and turning every sip into a tiny celebration of indulgence, relaxation, and just a hint of seaside mischief.
Requirements
- Previous bartending experience in a high-end resort, hotel, or fast-paced hospitality environment preferred, with strong knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails.
- Excellent guest service and communication skills, with a friendly, outgoing personality and the ability to create memorable experiences.
- Ability to multitask and stay composed in a busy, outdoor poolside setting while maintaining attention to detail and presentation.
- Valid alcohol service certification (or ability to obtain), along with a commitment to responsible service and workplace safety.
Responsibilities
- Craft and serve a curated menu of premium cocktails, mocktails, beer, and wine with speed, precision, and a touch of flair, tailored to guest preferences.
- Provide attentive, personalized poolside service by anticipating guests' needs, maintaining a welcoming presence, and creating a relaxed, upscale atmosphere.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar area, ensuring all tools, garnishes, and ingredients meet luxury resort standards.
- Monitor guest consumption and uphold responsible alcohol service practices while ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment.
- Process orders and payments accurately, coordinate with pool and service staff, and contribute to seamless daily operations.
