The Pool Attendant is responsible for ensuring that all guests have a safe, enjoyable, and comfortable experience while at the pool area. You will assist in maintaining cleanliness, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring safety standards are followed. This role requires someone who is proactive, friendly, and attentive to guest needs. HOW YOU’LL SHAPE THE EXPERIENCE & FUTURE Greet guests as they arrive at the pool area and provide assistance with towels, seating, and umbrellas. Ensure guests are aware of pool rules and safety guidelines. Offer assistance with poolside amenities, such as water, sunscreen, or other supplies. Assist with setting up lounge chairs, cabanas, and towels. Respond promptly to guest requests and concerns, ensuring high-quality customer service. Monitor pool activity to ensure guests’ comfort and safety. Ensure safety protocols are followed, including monitoring pool depth and maintaining poolside safety equipment (lifebuoys, first aid kits, etc.). Alert guests to pool hazards or any restrictions (e.g., pool closures or swimming conditions). Keep the pool area tidy, including removing trash, straightening up poolside furniture, and ensuring a clean environment. Report any maintenance issues or unsafe conditions to the appropriate department (e.g., broken furniture, cleaning needs, pool water quality concerns). Ensure towels are neatly stacked or distributed to guests and maintain towel inventory. Sweep and clean the poolside, ensuring all areas are free of debris. Assist with restocking poolside supplies (sunscreen, water bottles, etc.). Maintain poolside aesthetic by ensuring the area is visually appealing and well-organized Coordinate with lifeguards, servers, and other staff to ensure seamless guest service. Report guest feedback and service issues to management. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation of the pool area and meet guest expectations. Other duties as assigned.
