The Pool Attendant Supervisor is responsible for ensuring a safe, clean, and enjoyable pool environment for all guests. This includes supervising pool attendants, monitoring pool and deck activity, and enforcing safety and cleanliness standards while delivering excellent guest service.

Requirements

  • Effective verbal communication in English (required for safety and operational communication).
  • Strong swimming skills and demonstrated water competency.
  • Current CPR, First Aid, and Deep-Water Safety certifications (training available on-site if needed).
  • Minimum of 3 months of pool attendant or related experience.
  • Positive, professional demeanor with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Willingness to perform other related duties as requested by management.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise pool attendants and oversee daily pool operations to ensure a safe and enjoyable guest experience.
  • Assign team members to stations, train new attendants, and provide coverage or breaks when needed
  • Actively engage with guests, providing helpful information and promoting resort amenities and services.
  • Monitor pool and deck areas, correcting unsafe behaviors in a positive, professional manner
  • Enforce all pool, deck, and slide safety rules consistently and courteously.
  • Perform daily inspections of pool areas, slides, and equipment to ensure operational safety and cleanliness.
  • Maintain cleanliness of decks, chairs, tables, umbrellas, and other poolside areas.
  • Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies, providing first aid or CPR as needed.
  • Maintain up-to-date CPR, First Aid, and water safety certifications; participate in regular in-service and safety training.
  • Use proper personal protective equipment when handling potentially infectious materials.
  • Complete all required reports and documentation accurately and legibly.
