About The Position
Responsible for providing basic Sleep services.
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Background in patient care.
- Intermittent hand manipulation required
- Intermittent lifting and carrying of 50 pounds which can be modified
Responsibilities
- Monitors and evaluates patients with possible sleep disorders under the direct supervision of a sleep technologist or technician until Initial Competency Assessment is completed.
- The sleep trainee will have the technologist or technician co-sign all studies that the trainee performs.
- Performs diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
- Provides explanations and instructions to patients.
- Operates a personal computer and general office equipment.
- Operates medical equipment.
