About The Position

The Pollstar Live! Ambassador will a ssist Oak View Group’s Media & Conferences team in preparing and executing Pollstar Live! 2026. This temporary, part-time position offers hands-on experience in event and conference management within the live entertainment industry, with exposure to multiple functional areas including operations, sponsorship, marketing, and programming. This is a temporaray part-time role from April 13, 2026 and will end on April 16, 2026. This role will pay an hourly rate of $17.05. This position will remain open until March 6, 2026

Requirements

  • Ideal candidates will have strong communication skills and the ability to clearly articulate information to attendees, panelists, and staff.
  • They should be professional, adaptable, enthusiastic, and able to maintain a positive attitude under pressure.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are essential.
  • Candidates should feel comfortable interacting with a diverse range of individuals and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Availability for all Pollstar Live! 2026 event days and pre-event training sessions is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Foundational knowledge or an interest in the live entertainment, events, or media industries is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist attendees with purchasing and picking up conference credentials.
  • Provide accurate information on sessions, schedules, and venue locations.
  • Verify and scan attendee badges for entry and exit in panel rooms.
  • Support setup and maintenance of panel rooms, ensuring panelist and speaker needs are met.
  • Assist with conference load-in and load-out logistics.
  • Serve as a first point of contact for attendee inquiries and issues, escalating concerns to senior staff as needed.
  • Assist with sponsor activations, signage placement, and brand visibility checks.
  • Supporting on-site marketing initiatives such as social content capture and photo ops.
  • Collaborate with the events team on room transitions, speaker coordination, and session timing.
  • Provide flexible, on-call support to other departments to ensure smooth conference execution.
