About The Position

The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) is the official national Democratic campaign committee charged with electing Democrats to the U. S. House of Representatives. The DCCC recruits Democratic candidates and supports Democratic campaigns – both challengers and Democratic incumbent Members – with a variety of services including field operations, fundraising support, communications assistance, digital strategy, research support and management consulting. The DCCC is supported by the contributions of individuals and organizations, along with Democratic Members, from throughout the country. We look for talented and hard-working professionals who are committed to electing Democrats and winning the House majority. Due to the cyclic nature of our organization, all positions are subject to separation at the end of the election cycle. Position Summary: The DCCC is hiring a Polling Analyst for the 2026 cycle. They will help ensure the accuracy and quality of all polling materials, including assisting Regional staff in reviewing analysis of internal and external polling data. This position will also help organize, aggregate and monitor relevant metrics derived from multiple data sources. The Polling Analyst will track logistics for the DCCC’s modeling programs and assist the committee's robust in-house polling operation. This position is part of a collective bargaining unit.

Requirements

  • Understanding and an aptitude to learn more about current conversations occurring in the worlds of political polling and modeling
  • Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills are preferred
  • Experience using SQL and/or familiarity with Python or R is a plus
  • Familiarity with web-based voter file tools, such as VAN or Catalist is a plus
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to assist in guiding large-scale projects in a fast-paced environment with multiple layers of stakeholders, both internal and external
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and select the most important findings from data, and then communicate results in understandable prose to a diverse, non-technical audience
  • Draws from team members’ strengths, empowering them to maximize their talents; contributes where needed to achieve and exceed goals

Responsibilities

  • Maintain internal polling and modeling calendars and polling results and regular reports
  • Assist Regional staff with the polling process and their analysis of polling results
  • Maintain systems for tracking the polling received or is publicly available
  • Assist with internal polling and modeling program execution, including external modeling, technology, and phone vendors
  • Ensure the highest level of accuracy in our reports and in data entry, through rigorous quality control measures
  • Provide strategic insights to the Analytics team and other departments based on findings from reports, analyses, and public data
