About The Position

All applicants must be able to work up to five days in the office if needed (for example: emergencies, training, or other business needs) or should the policy change. We are hiring an analyst to provide analytical, project management, and operational support for executive-level initiatives and departmental priorities. This position supports planning, coordination, execution, and monitoring of high-visibility projects, executive communications, meetings, process improvements, and cross-functional activities. Analyzes business processes, workflows, and data, and converts findings into actionable recommendations and value-added information. Provides analytical and operational support for executive and departmental initiatives, including project tracking, milestone monitoring, issue resolution, and follow-up on key deliverables. Coordinates and supports high-visibility projects and special assignments involving multiple stakeholders across the Company. Develop reports, dashboards, presentations, meeting materials, summaries, and procedures to support leadership decision-making and departmental priorities. Assists in drafting and editing communications, including internal updates, presentations, talking points, briefing materials, and other business correspondence. Supports meeting and event planning, including agenda development, logistics coordination, material preparation, note-taking, and action-item tracking. Identifies opportunities for process change or continuous improvement and facilitates implementation of improved workflows, tools, and operating practices. Works with various departments throughout the Company to gather information, align priorities, and support cross-functional execution. Performs or assists in ad hoc querying, reporting, research, and analysis as requested by Eversource management or personnel. Supports administration and coordination of operational activities such as scheduling, stakeholder tracking, approvals, documentation, and related departmental processes. Perform and implement special assignments as necessary. Responsible for storm restoration and emergency assignments.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and project coordination skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare polished materials for leadership audiences.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively across functions and levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, balance competing deadlines, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including spreadsheets, charts, reporting, and data organization, required.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and SharePoint, required.
  • Ability to prepare presentations, summaries, and business materials that support executive and departmental decision-making.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive or confidential information with sound judgment and discretion.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Finance, Project Management, Public Administration, or related discipline, or the equivalent in combined education and experience is required.
  • Three (3) plus years of related experience in project coordination, business operations, analyst work, executive support, communications, or related business functions.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with budgeting, tracking, and administrative processes, preferred.
  • Project management experience or familiarity with project tracking tools and methods, preferred.
  • Experience supporting cross-functional initiatives, preparing business communications, and improving processes is preferred.
  • Experience supporting senior leaders or executive-level work is preferred.
  • Project Management certification such as PMP or CAPM is a plus.
