We currently have an exciting opportunity to join us as an experience brass Polisher within our growing Polishing Team. This will be working on our afternoon shift which is Monday-Friday 2pm-10pm. In a nutshell you will be responsible for: You will be working within a team of polishers processing various parts for castings, turned parts, pressings & spouts for various plating finish standards, predominantly for chrome and nickel finishes, with a total of ten finishes across all ranges produced.

Requirements

Extensive experience of working in the brass polishing industry.
Familiar with the linishing and grinding aspects of the polishing process in preparation for the final stages of polishing.

Responsibilities

Polishing of components to the high-quality standard required by the company.
Ensuring all work is undertaken in accordance with any work instructions / procedures.
Ensuring preventative maintenance schedules are completed as required.
Reporting any quality issues / concerns to the team leader.
Carrying out routine maintenance when required.
Notifying the team leader of consumable items that are out of stock.
Maintaining good communications and relationships throughout the company.
Ensuring compliance with company procedures and make suggestions for improvement.
Ensuring compliance with Health and Safety requirements.
Maintaining a clean, safe working environment and good housekeeping standards and ensure 5S standards are maintained.
Willing to be trained in line with the skills matrix.
To be trained and guided by the training mentors.
