About The Position

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY:

MAJOR DUTIES:

1. Understand and apply safe work practices.
2. Understand and apply basic Metal Polishing principles.
3. Understand and apply basic Metal Buffing principles.
4. Basic understanding and operation of Lea Wheel.
5. Ability to Identify Materials and apply appropriate Finishes.
6. Basic understanding and application of raw materials.
7. Basic understanding and operation of Burlington Belt Sander.
8. Read and understand work orders
9. Full understanding and application of measuring equipment tape measure, and
calipers.
10. Set up and Operate Sand Blaster
11. Basic understanding and operation of all polishing hand tools
12. Basic understanding and operation of crane Paint Room.
13. Basic understanding of Basic Paint operations, Tanks, Set Up, Liquid and
Powder
14. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Basic Math
• Blueprint and Measuring
• Ability to routinely lift up to 50 Lb.’s
• Good Body Mechanics
• Long periods of standing
