About The Position
Modern Packaging is looking for a Metal Polisher, someone who can efficiently perform the following tasks
Requirements
- Previous experience preferred but not required
- Company will train the right candidate
- Ability to communicate and have discussions in English
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules.
- Ability to stay organized and perform work in a safe and orderly fashion.
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
- Be punctual and dependable.
- Day shift hours are 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. M-F, 7:00 a.m. – 12 noon Saturdays
- Overtime is often required
Responsibilities
- Operate small electric and pneumatic hand and bench tools.
- Deburr and polish metal parts with various abrasives and hand tools
- Follow work instructions and procedures
- Be able to stand for longer periods of time as needed.
- Be a team player and help others as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
