Requirements
- High School diploma required.
- Manufacturing facility experience preferred
- Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn production equipment.
- Purchase required tools in six months
- Consistently reliable attendance
- Willingness to work M-F 7 am to 3 pm
Nice To Haves
- Physical ability to operate and repair machines.
- Prolonged periods (up to 4 hours) of standing, walking, bending, and stretching in between breaks.
- Must be able to lift up to 55 pounds at times.
- Demonstrated leadership skills & ability to multi-task.
- Machining skills acquired through work experience and training from Wissota Tool team.
- Improvement mindset
- Problem solving/critical thinking abilities.
- Good oral and written communication skills
Responsibilities
- Set Up and operate Laser Marker.
- Maintain programs and fixtures.
- Polish tooling and machine parts.
- In-process inspection of parts.
- Setup and operate Laser automation.
- Assist in processing in-coming goods including regrinds.
- Ability to meet Production Standards.
- Maintaining accurate marking.
- Polish to meet finish requirements.
- Perform equipment maintenance.
- Pull and sort inventory for shop use.
- Maintain accurate inventory
- Operate a forklift in a factory setting.
- Secondary Operations
- Perform other job-related duties as required or assigned.
