What You'll Do As a PL Operations Technician, you will: Review applications for completeness and coverage to determine if they are within eligibility guidelines Contact insurance agents by phone, email, and mail to request necessary information Suggest ways to streamline procedures and processes to improve production efficiency and quality of work Review requests for renewal, cancellation, endorsements, and policies for renewal consideration Make independent decisions regarding cancellation or non-renewal of risks in accordance with company policy and procedure and in compliance with specific statutory regulations Research inquiries from customers or agents, as well as generating letters corresponding policy documents as needed What it Takes High school diploma or equivalent experience required Minimum 6 months of clerical, auto customer service, or underwriting experience preferred Very good written and verbal communication skills to handle service needs of producers and customers Working knowledge of PC software applications Knowledge of Personal Lines operations and business systems beneficial Ability to prioritize work and maintain appropriate service standards Working knowledge of telecommunication systems and call center software What You'll Receive At Sentry, your total rewards go beyond competitive compensation.
