Job Summary The Policy Change Senior Associate plays a critical role in reviewing and analyzing policy change forms to ensure completeness and compliance with basic underwriting requirements. You will review and analyze each change request to determine if the necessary details are provided to meet the requirements for processing. Using various system platforms, you’ll input information received in paper or electronic submissions. Additionally, you will develop an understanding of state-specific rules and guidelines to ensure policy changes align with regulations. Customer service support is an essential aspect of this role, where you will answer questions regarding policy contracts and the policy change process.

Requirements

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in customer service, insurance experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with policy change processes and various system platforms.
  • Strong attention to detail in data entry and policy analysis.
  • Strong communication skills for customer service and team collaboration preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Meet or exceed daily production targets of 35 health and life policy changes.
  • Deliver customer service through phone, email, and written communication.
  • Perform basic risk assessments.
  • Develop an understanding of state regulations and requirements to make appropriate policy changes.
