About The Position

A successful Policy Administrator is responsible for tasks including but not limited to: uploading final policies requests, entering orders, performing updates, uploading documents, adding and deleting attachments, typing and issuing final policies, performing delivery functions, importing and exporting from various software, creating invoices and other duties as assigned. If you can type fast and accurately and can check documents for grammar, spelling and punctuation errors under tight deadlines, we’d like to meet you. For this role, it’s essential to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required, Baccalaureate degree preferred.
  • 2+ years’ experience with title or closing company, with policy typing and/or policy curative experience a plus.
  • Work under general supervision.
  • Strong customer service skills required.
  • Experience utilizing ResWare or similar closing software preferred.

  • Highly motivated, inquisitive, self-started with the ability to multi-task and effectively manage priorities to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, ability to high volume and the capacity to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Capable of generating a high degree of respect and trust to develop, maintain strong relationships with business partners across all levels of stakeholders.
  • Experience with basic Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Responsibilities

  • Issue short form and long form Owner’s and Lender’s policies for multiple states nationwide.
  • Serve as a liaison between the policy team, Westcor Agents and Agency Representatives.
  • Review and secure documentation needed to issue title policies.
  • Perform update searches when required for policy.
  • Review and monitor internal and external reporting to ensure all timelines and service level agreements are met.
  • Work collaboratively with outsource partners
  • Upload typing requests to internal systems
  • Email and/or upload completed policies
  • Perform other duties as assigned and outlined above
  • Keep information confidential in accordance with security policies
