Be a part of a world-class academic healthcare system, UChicago Medicine , as a Point of Care Coordinator in the Alternate Testing Lab. Here you will p articipate in planning, organizing, and documenting for aspects of testing performed at point of care testing at point-of-care testing sites and in designated non-centralized laboratories. Provides technical consultation and standardizes laboratory policies and procedures for use by clinical staff. May include oversight of testing personnel performance and adherence to SOPs; development and implementation of new procedures, methods, and instrumentation; maintaining and/or improving the quality of work performed, within the framework of compliance with all applicable regulatory/accreditation requirements including CLIA standards and College of American Pathology (CAP) guidelines. This department is the Alternate Testing Laboratory . This position is a 100% onsite opportunity . You will need to be based in the greater Chicagoland area. Participates in planning, organizing, documenting, and providing technical and quality performance services for aspects of testing performed at point of care sites and in designated non-centralized laboratories. Provides technical consultation and standardizes laboratory policies and procedures for use by clinical staff.
