We have over 1,200 employees globally and are currently looking for the newest member of our team. This role requires minimum two days per week in our Kilkenny Office. Role Purpose We are seeking a highly organized and proactive PMO to join our dynamic organisation on a contract basis. In this role, you will support the delivery of key strategic projects by coordinating activities across multiple initiatives, maintaining project documentation and ensuring governance standards are upheld. A key element in the role is delivery of effective management information to report, monitor and proactively propose corrective/mitigating action where required. In addition a key element will be supporting the Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) and wider Senior Management Team (SMT) in a business change initiative across the organisation as we embed the output from these strategic projects into business as usual.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Computer Science or other related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Proven experience in a similar PMO or project coordination role
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile, Waterfall)
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, or Smartsheet
  • Clear and concise communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

  • PMO or project coordination experience in software development industry
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CAPM, PRINCE2 Foundation, P3O)
  • Experience with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day coordination support across designated strategic projects
  • Work with the CSO and wider SMT to design, plan and implement a business change approach across the business that subsumes the output from strategic projects into business as usual
  • Agree the project and business change support approach with stakeholders, and prepare realistic plans (including quality, risk and communications plans)
  • Identify, assess and propose mitigating actions to all potential risks that would impact the success of all strategic projects
  • Track activities against the project schedules, manage stakeholder involvement as appropriate
  • Build reporting/status updates, agendas and issue meeting action outputs
  • Maintain project documents, plans and other information in the project repository ensuring easy access and usability by the project team, follows up on tasks where appropriate.
  • Create PowerPoint and Visio documentation (or similar tooling) for the leadership team to facilitate understanding of complex project issues as well as to document process flows.
  • Ensure compliance with project methodologies and frameworks
  • Lead project reporting and dashboards for stakeholders and leadership teams
  • Coordinate resource allocation and help maintain the project resource plan
  • Support change control processes and document version management
  • Identify opportunities to improve PMO processes and tooling
