About The Position

Peraton is hiring a PMO Systems Administrator (SA) to join our Cyber Mission business unit in Annapolis Junction, MD. As a Systems Administrator on our team, you will support the Program Management Office of one of the largest enterprise-wide engineering contracts within the Intelligence Community. This is a full-time position requiring 1880 hours of support per year; and work is performed at our contractor location. As a PMO Systems Administrator on our team you will provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems Manage IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems; provide support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for all the desktops/network devices, mobile devices, etc.; Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of problems. In addition, you will provide support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers; provide support for the secure and unclassified systems; provide support for hardware problems; remain involved in the resolution process; configure and manage Windows operating systems; install/load operating system software; troubleshoot, maintain integrity, and configure network component; and implement operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance. #AJCM

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university
  • Five (5) years’ experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
  • Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree.
  • Must meet DoD Directive 8570 IAT Level 1 requirements (Security+ at a minimum).
  • Computer Network Operations - Must have at least one (1) year of demonstrated experience in Modern operating systems and network architectures.
  • Information Assurance - Must have at least one (1) year of demonstrated experience in certification and accreditation.
  • Architecture development and design.
  • Risk Assessments.
  • IA Metrics gathering.
  • Experience patching and upgrading network switches, installing software on desktops, creating, and editing security groups
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Position requires an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph

Nice To Haves

  • Experience providing engineering solutions for server build outs within Windows environments
  • Demonstrated ability to provide technical integrity, quality and completeness of work associated with deliverables, processes, etc.
  • Understands how to configure multiple VLANS (voice and data) onto switches using Putty software client
  • Comprehensive understanding of the OSI model as it relates to switch configuration, data flow and TCP/IP protocols.
  • Familiar w/ CISCO switches, configuring SFP’s and troubleshooting fiber runs
  • Experience using Active Directory as a domain service
  • Experience imaging desktops/laptops
  • Experience troubleshooting workstations, network printers and VoIP phones
  • Related certifications, e.g., CISSP, CEH, CCENT, CCNA, A+ etc.
