About The Position

PROENERGY Services is seeking a strategic and results-driven PMO Manager to lead and mature our Project Management Office. This role will be responsible for maturing the standardization of project execution across the organization, ensuring alignment with business goals, and driving operational excellence in project delivery. The PMO Manager will oversee project governance, resource planning, milestone tracking, and cross-functional coordination, while supporting digital transformation initiatives such as ERP implementation and integrations.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in project management, preferably in energy or industrial services.
  • Proven leadership in PMO or program management roles.
  • Strong understanding of ERP systems
  • Experience with various project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Wagile)
  • PMP or similar certification preferred.
  • Excellent communication (both written and verbal), analytical, and organizational skills.
  • US work authorization is a precondition of employment. The company will not consider candidates who require sponsorship for a work-authorized visa.
  • Successful candidate will need to satisfactorily complete pre-employment drug screen and background check

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and mature PMO frameworks, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Align project execution with strategic business objectives and service delivery models.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives across project lifecycle management.
  • Refine and improve standardized processes for project intake, planning, execution, and closeout.
  • Monitor project performance, ensure adherence to guidelines and manage stage gate process and approvals.
  • Ensure consistent adherence to policies and processes with respect to IT, Finance and Procurement.
  • Manage project pipeline and resource allocation across projects
  • Facilitate cross-departmental collaboration to resolve bottlenecks and optimize throughput.
  • Report portfolio performance in quarterly IT Steering Committee
  • Directly manage a multi-disciplinary team (Project Manager, Business Analyst, and Quality Assurance Analyst)
  • Provide coaching, performance feedback, and career development support.
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture across disciplines.
  • Ensure alignment of team activities with organizational priorities and project goals.
  • Provide executive-level reporting on project health, risks, and financial performance.
  • Serve as liaison between stakeholders of various departments (operations, finance, engineering, and IT teams).
  • Support customer-facing documentation and milestone deliverables.
