About The Position

We are hiring a PMO Lead / Responsable de Plateau to support large-scale industrial programs within a specialized project delivery environment. This role sits at the intersection of project governance, operational delivery, and team leadership , ensuring the successful execution of complex, high-stakes projects. You will operate in structured environments where planning, coordination, and performance management are critical to delivery success. As a PMO Lead, you will act as the operational anchor across multiple projects and teams , driving planning, governance, and execution excellence. You will coordinate stakeholders, manage PMO teams, and ensure visibility across programs while maintaining strong client relationships.

Requirements

  • 5–10+ years of experience in PMO, complex project management, or team leadership
  • Strong experience in industrial projects (e.g., infrastructure, railway, aerospace, construction, energy)
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously
  • Hands-on experience with planning and reporting tools (Primavera P6, MS Project, Planisware or similar)
  • Strong understanding of project governance, risk management, and performance tracking
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with senior stakeholders
  • Leadership mindset with strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Professional English level (B2 minimum)
  • Significant mobility (travel 4 days per week, with 70% of clients in the Paris region and 30% in other regions).
  • Master’s degree or equivalent in engineering, project management, or related field

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in railway, naval, aerospace, or large infrastructure environments
  • Exposure to large-scale transformation or industrial programs
  • Strong background in PMO frameworks and methodologies

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate PMO teams and project contributors across multiple projects
  • Manage staffing, resource planning, and anticipate future project needs
  • Act as the primary interface with clients, ensuring satisfaction and proactive engagement
  • Oversee project delivery including timelines, budgets, risks, and KPIs
  • Drive adoption of PMO methodologies, tools, and best practices
  • Prepare and lead governance meetings (steering committees, reporting, executive updates)
  • Ensure clear communication and reporting to senior stakeholders and sponsors
  • Monitor team performance and support both individual and collective development
