Scheduled in-shop maintenance (PM services): Engineer oil changes, transmission/differential drains + filter swaps (oil, air, fuel, coolant). Maintain cooling systems: inspect hoses, coolant quality, pressure‑test, flush/refill. Triple‑check fluid levels: engine, transmission, differentials, hubs. Lubricate grease points—chassis, driveline, fifth wheel, steering systems Safety & readiness inspections: Brake system checks and adjustments (air/hydraulic); measure lining thickness; diagnose noise or leaks. Wheel/tire inspection: tread depth, pressure, leaks. Electrical checks: battery, alternator, belts, lighting, accessories like heaters, mirrors. Steering, suspension, alignment, wheel bearings & seals, Safety gear: seatbelts, mirrors, horns, backup alarms—repair or replace as needed. Diagnostic & troubleshooting tasks: Scan engine and fault codes; perform preliminary diagnostics. Conduct road tests to verify PM service efficacy and catch hidden issues.
