About The Position

Blue Flame manages three hotels on the Northeast side of Fort Wayne: the Hampton Inn Dupont and the Hilton Garden Inn and Home2 Suites (a dual property location). As a Server at the Hilton Garden Inn, your primary functions will be to interact verbally with all guests to create a friendly and upbeat atmosphere, present the menus, take and relay orders to the service bar and kitchen, mix drinks according to hotel standards, deliver food and drinks to guests, and observe guests and respond to any additional requests. In this position, you may also serve as a Breakfast Attendant. You will also be expected to check the guest's identification to make sure they meet age requirements.

Requirements

• high school diploma
• valid Food Safety Handler Certificate
• valid Liquor Permit
• ability to deal with various types of personalities and situations
• ability to make fast and sound decisions
• desire to reach perfection
• ability to read and understand instructions, correspondence, and memos
• be available to work weekends if needed
