About The Position

Saucon Valley Country Club is seeking a PM Prep Cook to support our culinary team in preparing high-quality ingredients and menu components for evening service, banquets, and member dining. This role is essential to ensuring the kitchen is organized, well-stocked, and ready to execute service at the highest level. This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, dependable, and enjoys working behind the scenes to help the kitchen run smoothly.

Requirements

  • Previous kitchen or prep experience preferred but not required
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organization
  • Willingness to learn and take direction from chefs and senior cooks
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Nice To Haves

  • Culinary school training or interest in culinary careers is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Prepare ingredients for evening à la carte service and banquet functions (cutting, portioning, sauces, stocks, etc.)
  • Assist with basic cooking tasks and production for dinner service
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness of prep areas, walk-ins, and storage areas
  • Follow recipes, prep lists, and instructions from chefs to ensure consistency and quality
  • Properly label, date, and rotate products according to food safety standards
  • Assist with kitchen setup for service and support line cooks as needed
  • Help with end-of-shift cleaning and organization
