What You Drive at DTNA RESUME IS REQUIRED TRAINING ON DAY SHIFT General Purpose of the Position: Perform skilled maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, and physical structures.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of mechanical and facilities repair/maintenance.
  • Strong skill set in the repair of complex manufacturing machinery
  • Ability to run reports focused on preventative maintenance goals
  • Ability to collaborate with a team and work independently.
  • Ability to utilize hand tools to perform assembly functions (ex. Screw drivers, measuring devices, adjustable end wrench, various crimping devices.
  • Education: High School Diploma/GED
  • Years of Experience: 3-5 years in maintenance of equipment or facilities
  • Able to read electrical and mechanical drawings
  • Able to use hand & power tools and welding equipment
  • Able to read, understand, draft, and complete documentation
  • Able to work overtime when necessary
  • Established satisfactory attendance record and performance rating

Responsibilities

  • Support manufacturing by maintaining facility and equipment
  • Provide general trouble shooting of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic components and equipment
  • Perform preventative maintenance activities in support of a Total Productive Maintenance program
  • Maintain and install electrical systems and fixtures
  • Provide day to day coverage of production line equipment; respond to alarms, breakdowns, and production requests quickly and efficiently to minimize downtime.
  • Perform equipment repairs/rebuilds
  • Ensure that tools and equipment are maintained and repaired
  • Perform facility maintenance that may require basic carpentry, electrical, plumbing
  • Maintain record retention using a CMMS
  • Ensure that all work areas are clean and orderly per 5S standards
