About The Position

Volante Farms in Needham, MA is a place for all seasons. As a fourth-generation family run farm, farm stand, and garden center Volante Farms has over one hundred years in the community. In 2012, the farm stand was remodeled adding two kitchens, a deli, bakery, and an ice cream stand/coffee bar.

We are looking for a PM Ice Cream Supervisor to join our growing team! Our goal is to make great food using great ingredients, focusing on scratch cooking, and using our homegrown produce.

This position is not seasonal. We are looking for someone 25+ hours per week, year round.

Our PM Ice Cream Supervisor will:
Oversee the bakery, ice cream, and coffee bars
Serve customers
Assist in packaging breads and preparing pre packaged items
Make custom coffee drinks, scoop ice cream
This position is a closing position with shifts starting as early as 10am. During the spring, fall, and winter, we are open until 7pm. During the summer we are open until 9pm.

The PM Ice Cream Supervisor will be offered benefits if full time, including 401K, profit sharing, competitive wages, insurance, paid time off, and employee discounts.

Requirements

• Ability to frequently lift up to 50lbs
• 18+ years old

Nice To Haves

• Previous supervisory/food handling experience preferred
