About The Position
The HostHostess is the first and last impression ambassador of the restaurant They greet each guest with energy enthusiasm and a friendly demeanor and provide a warm welcome and fond farewell The HostHostess diplomatically handles the waitlist and special requests with a positive attitude and offers guests all available options They stay abreast of floor plan information and seating rotation and accurately use guests names and information
Requirements
- Must have excellent customer service skills be friendly and outgoing
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment multitask and work effectively under pressure
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude even when under stress
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle cash and credit card transactions accurately
- Must be able and willing to work weekends and holidays
Nice To Haves
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
Responsibilities
- Greet guests in a friendly and timely manner
- Seat guests in a timely manner
- Maintain knowledge of current menu offerings specials and promotions
