Position Summary: The Evening Restaurant & Bar Busser/Barback supports hotel restaurant and bar operations by maintaining a clean, organized, and well-stocked environment during evening service. This role works closely with servers and bartenders to ensure timely table resets, bar readiness, and seamless service that enhances the overall guest experience and reflects hotel service standards Status Type & Pay: This is a Full-Time position and is eligible to participate in all our fantastic benefits offered to non-exempt hourly team members. Scheduling: This position requires the flexibility to work 2:00 PM – 12:00 AM, any day of the week, including weekend and holidays. Schedule will change weekly based on business demands. Specifically, as the banquet captain your primary responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Support evening restaurant and lobby bar operations by assisting servers and bartenders to ensure smooth, efficient service. Stock bar supplies including glassware, ice, garnishes, mixers, napkins, and utensils throughout service Clear, clean, and reset dining tables promptly in accordance with hotel cleanliness and service standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining room, bar area, service stations, and back-of-house support areas. Assist with bar setup and breakdown before and after evening service. Monitor guest areas and respond promptly to guest service requests by communicating with servers and bartenders. Follow all hotel safety, sanitation, and food handling guidelines, including local health regulations. Remove trash and soiled linens in a timely and sanitary manner. Support special events, banquets, or high-volume service periods as needed. Uphold hotel brand standards, professionalism, and a guest-first service culture at all times. Maintain expected high standards for uniform and personal appearance. This list is not all inclusive, additional job functions will be shared during interviews. Supportive Functions: The hotel functions seven (7) days a week and twenty-four (24) hours per day. Due to the seasonal nature and business hours of a hotel, candidates must realize it may be necessary to move an employee from their accustomed shift to meet business demands. All associates are expected to perform any other duties as requested by management to support other departments and/or operational requirements.
