Plumbing/Mechanical Systems Supervisor Under the supervision of the Plant Manager, you will supervise the Plumbing and Preventative Maintenance Shops. The supervisor develops, implements and maintains safe working practices for all employees. The supervisor is responsible for the recruitment, selection and orientation of employees in assigned areas. Provides work direction, assigns and/or schedules work, conducts on-the-job training, answers job related questions in addition to monitoring performance of employees. The supervisor reviews completed job orders and ensures all work is captured on the CMMS system in a timely manner. The supervisor attends and participates in weekly scheduling meetings and prepares departmental status reports on work and project activities for senior departmental management. Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Seven to ten years related experience
• FDNY Torch use of flammable gases/cutting/welding within 1 year
• FDNY Stand pipe/sprinkler certification within 1 year
• FDNY Fireguard certification within 1 year
• FDNY Certificate of Fitness for Compressed Gases G-17/G-71
• FDNY Certificate of Fitness for Storage, Handling, and use of Commercial Cryogenic Systems G-79
• FDNY Certificate of Fitness for Handling and Dispensing of Carbon Dioxide Containers G-82
• ASSE Medical Gas Maintainer 6040
• FDNY Certificate of Fitness for Compressed Gases G-17/G-71 within 1 year
• FDNY Certificate of Fitness for Storage, Handling, and use of Commercial Cryogenic Systems G-79 within 1 year
• FDNY Certificate of Fitness for Handling and Dispensing of Carbon Dioxide Containers G-82 within 1 year
• ASSE Medical Gas Maintainer 6040, COFG-17 or COFG71, COFG79 and COFG82 within 1 year

• Completion of appropriate Vocational/Technical School training
