About The Position

Overview You’ve been a plumber for a while now, and you’re ready to lead the next generation of plumbing installers. Apply to be a Plumbing Install Assistant Manager! Your Role As a Plumbing Install Assistant Manager, you’ll: Lead specialty jobs (outdoor dig crews, pipelining, and construction crew). You believe in doing things the right way, not the easy way, and so do we! You’ll make sure all plumbing installation jobs keep to a standard we can all be proud of. Plan and run weekly meetings. Whether training on technical skills or soft skills (like communication), or just motivating the team, you’ll lead the weekly team meetings! You’ll share safety topics, plumbing techniques, and so much more. Handle customer concerns and protect our brand. Sometimes, mistakes happen and customers get stressed out and upset. When this happens, you’ll work with them to make sure everything’s taken care of! After all, we have high standards here, and we wanna do everything we can to maintain those (and make sure people know about them!). Interview, hire, onboard, and make sure technicians are successful here. Nothing’s more satisfying to you than helping others grow and achieve! You’ll be involved in hiring our newest plumbers and making sure they thrive. We hire talented plumbers, but you’ll teach and develop them to turn that talent into performance!

Requirements

  • Valid North Carolina Plumbing Contractor License (NC P1 or P2)
  • 3+ years of residential Plumbing experience with diagnostic troubleshooting, repair & drain cleaning service, and installation
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Proven leadership ability
  • Keen ability to work accurately, efficiently, and manage multiple tasks with good work ethic
  • Committed adherence and enforcement of the company’s core values and core purpose
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Ability to fluently speak, read, and write in the English language

Nice To Haves

  • Valid South Carolina Plumbing Contractor License
  • Prior supervisory or management experience
  • Additional Plumbing experience
