About The Position

FOKIS Mechanical is a mechanical contracting company specializing in Plumbing System Installations. With a commitment to providing high-quality services to our clients, we are seeking a skilled Plumbing Forman to join our growing team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on a variety of challenging projects in a dynamic environment.

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Plumbing Forman. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing systems and be capable of working both independently and as part of a collaborative team. Bilingual English and Spanish highly desired!

Requirements

• Supervision level safety knowledge, OSHA 10/30 preferred
• Trade management level Procore understanding and execution
• Journeyman knowledge of the trade and corresponding trade impacts
• Moderate understanding of project budgets and man loaded schedules
• Direct and oversee site safety and manage project safety documents on a tablet
• Journeyman level ability to fit pipe
• Read, understand and execute CM/GC schedules and develop a trade specific project schedule
• Trade Partner Negotiations
• Material ordering, handling and management
• Daily management of 10 tradesmen of less
• Direct and oversee site safety and manage project safety documents
• Safety oversite
• Ability to develop and execute a man loaded project schedule within a project budget
• Material ordering, scheduling and site management
• Professional Trade Partner and Construction Manager negotiation and collaboration
• Standard hand tools for a journeyman Plumber

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and coordinate a team of plumbers and apprentices on job sites. (Forman of 10 or less workers - 25% time on tools if less than 8 workers)
• Ensure workers follow safety procedures, adhere to company standards, and meet project deadlines.
