In this role, you’ll:
Requirements
- Experience : 2+ years in commercial construction estimating; plumbing field installation experience preferred
- Technical Skills : Knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); familiarity with Bluebeam and Building Connected software is a plus
- Skills : Strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving, and time management skills
- Abilities : Comfortable evaluating construction plans and specifications, with excellent written and verbal communication
- Teamwork : Ability to work independently and collaboratively with the team
Responsibilities
- Develop detailed estimates from construction drawings and project specifications
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, owners, and contractors to ensure project success
- Attend pre-bid meetings and analyze bid specifications and requirements
- Build relationships with vendors to secure competitive pricing and maintain project budgets
- Provide support throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring estimates remain on target and on schedule
