The Plumbing Apprentice’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to assisting in properly and accurately estimating, installing, replacing, troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, and/or testing the following: Water piping systems Gas piping systems Sanitary sewer piping systems Tub/shower/faucet internal mechanisms including cartridges, washers, springs, etc. Faucets Gas and water valves Gas and water supply lines Gas risers Gas yard lines Tub/shower valves Tub/shower trim Tub faucets Sink drain assemblies including disposals Tub basket strainers Kitchen sinks Hose bibbs Toilets Yard leaks/breaks Sanitary sewer yard lines Sanitary sewer and potable water slab leaks Toilet flanges Gas and electric tank water heaters Gas and electric tankless water heaters Hot water recirculation systems PRV & valve boxes Boiler drains Water yard lines

Responsibilities

  • Assisting in properly and accurately estimating, installing, replacing, troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, and/or testing water piping systems
  • Assisting in properly and accurately estimating, installing, replacing, troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, and/or testing gas piping systems
  • Assisting in properly and accurately estimating, installing, replacing, troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, and/or testing sanitary sewer piping systems
  • Assisting in properly and accurately estimating, installing, replacing, troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, and/or testing tub/shower/faucet internal mechanisms including cartridges, washers, springs, etc.
  • Assisting in properly and accurately estimating, installing, replacing, troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, and/or testing faucets
  • Assisting in properly and accurately estimating, installing, replacing, troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, and/or testing gas and water valves
  • Assisting in properly and accurately estimating, installing, replacing, troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, and/or testing gas and water supply lines
  • Assisting in properly and accurately estimating, installing, replacing, troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, and/or testing gas risers
  • Assisting in properly and accurately estimating, installing, replacing, troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, and/or testing gas yard lines
  • Assisting in properly and accurately estimating, installing, replacing, troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, and/or testing tub/shower valves
  • Assisting in properly and accurately estimating, installing, replacing, troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, and/or testing tub/shower trim
  • Assisting in properly and accurately estimating, installing, replacing, troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, and/or testing tub faucets
  • Assisting in properly and accurately estimating, installing, replacing, troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, and/or testing sink drain assemblies including disposals
  • Assisting in properly and accurately estimating, installing, replacing, troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, and/or testing tub basket strainers
  • Assisting in properly and accurately estimating, installing, replacing, troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, and/or testing kitchen sinks
  • Assisting in properly and accurately estimating, installing, replacing, troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, and/or testing hose bibbs
  • Assisting in properly and accurately estimating, installing, replacing, troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, and/or testing toilets
  • Assisting in properly and accurately estimating, installing, replacing, troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, and/or testing yard leaks/breaks
  • Assisting in properly and accurately estimating, installing, replacing, troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, and/or testing sanitary sewer yard lines
  • Assisting in properly and accurately estimating, installing, replacing, troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, and/or testing sanitary sewer and potable water slab leaks
  • Assisting in properly and accurately estimating, installing, replacing, troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, and/or testing toilet flanges
  • Assisting in properly and accurately estimating, installing, replacing, troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, and/or testing gas and electric tank water heaters
  • Assisting in properly and accurately estimating, installing, replacing, troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, and/or testing gas and electric tankless water heaters
  • Assisting in properly and accurately estimating, installing, replacing, troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, and/or testing hot water recirculation systems
  • Assisting in properly and accurately estimating, installing, replacing, troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, and/or testing PRV & valve boxes
  • Assisting in properly and accurately estimating, installing, replacing, troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, and/or testing boiler drains
  • Assisting in properly and accurately estimating, installing, replacing, troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, and/or testing water yard lines
