Requirements
- OSHA 30 certification preferred.
- Motivated individuals who want to learn the mechanical trade and have a high school diploma or GED, as well as reliable transportation.
- Ability to successfully register, enroll, and participate in a mechanical apprenticeship program (and remain in good standing) until completion.
- Able to physically perform the essential functions of the job.
- Willing to learn plumbing codes and other construction safety requirements.
- Demonstrate and uphold Power Design’s core values, which include integrity, accountability, teamwork, innovation, and growth.
Nice To Haves
- OSHA 30 certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Partner with a licensed Plumbing Journeyman and receive on-the-job training (OJT) to become a Plumbing Journeyman.
- Assist in performing multifamily and commercial plumbing installations.
- Learn and perform all scopes of large-scale projects, including installing water supply and drainage systems, setting fixtures, and ensuring all plumbing meets code.
- Participate in an official apprenticeship program and attend classes as required.
