About The Position

Blazer is looking for a motivated and hardworking Plumbing Apprentice to join our Plumbing team! Requirements

Must be currently enrolled in the Area II JATC Apprentice Program and meet all ongoing requirements through completion.
Ability to read a tape measure and understand construction drawings.
Good problem-solving skills and willingness to learn general building practices.
Strong math skills and a solid work ethic.
Ability to learn proper use of power tools and equipment.
Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

Assist Journeyman Plumbers with installing plumbing systems, including water, waste, fluids, gases, and storm drains.
Work with materials such as copper, plastic, PVC, ABS, CPVC, Aquapex, galvanized and black, cast iron etc.
Keep work areas clean and tools organized.
Stock plumbing materials in the shop and on job sites.
Assist in maintaining equipment properly.
Support monthly inventory tasks and cross-train within the Mechanical Crew.
Help with facility maintenance and perform additional duties as assigned.
