About The Position

Golden Rain Foundation conveniently located within the Leisure World Seal Beach community is currently looking to fill one (1) Plumber position we have available in our Service Maintenance Department to perform plumbing installation, repair, and maintenance work in our Mutuals, community facilities as well as our administrative offices. Who we are: Leisure World Seal Beach is an active senior community (55+) that is spread over 542 park-like acres which offers resort style living with all the amenities of small-town living. Work Schedule: 8:00am-4:30pm and may include holidays and weekends. Your work week will be determined during the interview process. Position Expectations: Repair water, sewer, and drain lines, sewer leaks and stoppages. Install, repair, and maintain pumps, faucets, water heaters, sinks, toilets, showers and shower valves, and sprinkler lines. Record time, materials, and related information on Service Repair Orders (SRO) accurately. Assist co-workers when necessary. Maintain swimming pool, Jacuzzi, and golf course lake. Repair revolving globe at main entrance. The experience you need: Knowledge of basic residential and commercial plumbing installation, repair, and maintenance. Knowledge of materials used in the plumbing trade. Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions. Ability and experience in reading schematics. Using all tools and equipment used in the plumbing trade. Operating 2-way radio. You should be able to: Stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb, reach, and carry up to 50 pounds. Push and pull up to 125 pounds with assistance. Analyze and solve problems related to plumbing. Communicate effectively. Relate to shareholders and/or members concerns. Work effectively as a team with co-workers and provide superior customer service to shareholders, GRF and Mutual directors, contractors and GRF inspectors. Requirements
