About The Position
Install and maintain plumbing related utilities. Responsibilities include the repair, maintenance, and installation of domestic and process water lines, sprinkler lines, steam and condensate systems, gas lines, air lines, and storm drains.
Requirements
- Experience with installation, maintenance, and repair of water and steam systems.
- Working skill in the use of diverse hand and power tools pertaining to the plumbing trade.
- Respond to campus emergencies within 30 minutes.
- Valid driver’s license required.
Nice To Haves
- Considerable knowledge of steam systems or sprinkler systems.
- Work experience with commercial/industrial plumbing/steam distribution systems.
- Considerable experience working independently.
- A journeyman or master plumbing license issued in the state of Virginia.
- Experience reading and interpreting written instructions, blueprints, and schematic drawings.
