PLT Extruding Floor Supervisor
About The Position
The Extruding Floor Supervisor is responsible for inventory, scheduling, assuring quality and quantity production, maintaining acceptable scrap levels, providing a safe work environment, housekeeping and adherence to policies and work procedures and meets customer needs on a timely basis. The operational activities of all Extrusion equipment, including schedule attainment levels, maintenance, safety, employee relations, and effective management and training of assigned personnel. Inventory and schedule all of Extrusion department, including overseeing sequencing of production. Inventory and schedule all of Extrusion department, including overseeing sequencing of production. Insure a safe working environment, including mill drills. Support Department efficiency and assure optimal team performance. Completion of documentation as required, including production reports, maintenance of attendance records and probationary reviews. Direct and provide BT1 teams. Ensure all ESH procedures, policies and legal requirements are implemented and monitored. NOTE: May not be inclusive of all work required and may be updated as needed.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree or 2 years experience required.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
- No relocation assistance is offered for this position
