Join Apple, and help us leave the world better than we found it.The WW BPR PLM team serves as a support entity for the business process, product data management, and PLM system and integration across Operations for all of Apple's Line of Businesses (LOBs). The team collaborates across multiple business stakeholders to develop, maintain and execute a Next Generation PLM roadmap with high benefit to Apple overall. This position requires global coordination of efforts across all regions. The team's key responsibilities include: - Managing complex large scale projects involving several corporate and regional resources across 3 continents. - Aligning World Wide and Regional teams to our Next Generation PLM program. The Worldwide Business Process Re-engineering (BPR) team is seeking an experienced supply chain professional to lead Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) focused initiatives. This position will be managing and driving large scale global cross functional initiatives to enable new PLM u0026 Supply chain capabilities, drive process optimization, increase scale u0026 efficiency, and minimize cost. You will work to identify and resolve key issues in a dynamic and ambiguous environment, facing exciting challenges daily. This position would also play a critical role in the global rollout of Apple's next generation Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and integrated Supply Chain. Prior hands-on PLM and manufacturing/supply chain in the electronics industry within with a leading global consumer electronics company is required.
Requirements
- Master Degree in Industrial Engineering, or related field (Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical, etc.)
- Ability to operate independently with conviction and drive teams to the right levels of quality in delivery even under pressure.
- Handle ambiguity in problem definition, have a good handle on business value and have the initiative to craft problems and projects so that they deliver maximum impact.
