We’re committed to making a positive impact on the world, providing you with diverse learning and working opportunities, and fostering a culture where everyone’s empowered to be their best. · Ensure a safe work environment for the plant in regard to all things electrical, including electronic PLC issues. · Maintain and upgrade all electrical aspects of the machinery to ensure the equipment is performing as intended and is compliant to code. · Assist other maintenance employees with trouble shooting, repairing and installing electrical equipment in the safest and most efficient way possible. · Provide documentation, assistance, and tech support to management to accomplish company wide goals. · Manage outside contractors working on electrical issues or upgrades in the plant. · Responsibilities include identifying and repairing equipment. improvement opportunities, writing AFE’s and executing problem resolutions. · Assess performance of existing equipment and processes – implementing improvements. · Drive process control improvement projects. (Electrical, PLC and or Automation) Installs, maintains, and repairs manufacturing equipment and fixtures. Conducts complex maintenance activities primarily on machinery and related equipment. Maintains repair and maintenance records. Troubleshoots problems and resolves complex and high priority issues. Typically has more than 5 years of experience and works under general direction. · Bachelor’s degree in engineering with 5+ years’ experience in facility or test equipment installation/maintenance. · Experience with PLC programming (Allen Bradley SLC500, MicroLogix, ControlLogix) · Hands-on experience in HMI and SCADA development with FactoryTalk, PanelView, and Cmore. · Knowledge of DC drives, VFDs, and Servos. Level winding experience a plus. · Proficient with blue prints-schematics (electrical & hydraulic). · Strong Electrical background required, and experience with Aluminum Extrusion preferred. · AutoCAD: 1 year (Required) Key Competencies: · Excellent written and verbal communication skills. · Planning and organizing. · Formal presentation skills. · Experience with aluminum extrusion technology or strong electrical engineering background · Must be willing and able to excel in a team environment · Excellent problem-solving skills · Excellent computer skills, including Word, Excel, and Microsoft Office · A “self starter” requiring minimal supervision and guidance. · Willingness to get your hands dirty. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering with 5+ years’ experience in facility or test equipment installation/maintenance.
