About The Position

PLC/HMI Programmer to support our Altronex brand. This role will work on-site in
our Madison, WI location.

Our Altronex brand is a leading provider of control solutions for the municipal
water and wastewater industries, providing custom-engineered control panels,
SCADA and telemetry systems, control panel fabrication, systems integration, and
field services support.

Requirements

• Have experience programming Allen Bradley PLC’s and HMI’s
• Be comfortable with CompactLogix, MicroLogix and some ControlLogix
• Have experience with PanelView, Maple, Auotmation Direct and Wonderware HMI Programs
• Be a self-starter
• Possess excellent time management and communication skills

Nice To Haves

• A 2-year degree in Automation Technology or equivalent degree and 5+ years of experience

Responsibilities

• Develop PLC code and HMI graphics for our control systems which control the movement of water and wastewater.
• Work on new panels and MCC’s as they are being manufactured in-house, to doing custom modifications for control systems that are currently in operation.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel to organize programming functions
