Requirements

  • Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field required
  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience in controls engineering or IT systems
  • Demonstrated experience with both Allen-Bradley and Siemens PLC platforms — this is a firm requirement
  • Proficiency programming Rockwell Automation Logix PLCs
  • Proficiency with Rockwell HMI platforms: PanelView Plus, PanelView Plus CE, and FactoryTalk View ME/SE
  • Experience programming Siemens S7/TIA Portal PLCs
  • Working knowledge of control system design and implementation for global manufacturing environments
  • Solid troubleshooting skills across electrical and electronic control systems
  • Basic understanding of Ethernet-based industrial networks and architectures

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Experience working with international teams is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Support the installation and commissioning of OEM equipment at global manufacturing facilities, both remotely and on-site
  • Program and configure Rockwell Automation Logix PLCs and Siemens S7/TIA Portal PLCs
  • Develop and maintain HMI applications using PanelView Plus, PanelView Plus CE, and FactoryTalk View ME/SE
  • Troubleshoot and resolve control system issues in OEM equipment, minimizing downtime
  • Interface with internal departments to ensure electrical control systems comply with customer policies and standards
  • Maintain adherence to all safety protocols and procedures
