About The Position

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES Books reservations for VIP customers in a pleasant, consistent manner, with the goal of selling the hotel to capacity every night and maximizing bookings for events. Utilizes information to answer all inquiries, book casino events, and avoid denials by booking future dates. Properly trains all new Player’s Club Representatives. Responsible for running, scheduling, and executing Players Club Promotions. Address patron complaints and questions in a professional, effective, and efficient manner. Creates and maintains various program reports as needed by department managers. Will assist with mentoring, training, and supervising Players Club Representatives. Ensures guest information is property updated in system. Ensures proper staffing for Players Club Services. Assists in casino promotions and events. Performs administrative functions for Players Club, including but not limited to, Time & Attendance, meeting coordination, procedure updates, prepares departmental newsletters, opens mail, prepare departmental bulletin boards, orders supplies, maintains inventory, conducts Spotlights and works at the “Q Club” if ever necessary for coverage. Acts as a role model to other employees and encourages others to do the same. Adheres to regulatory, departmental, and company policies in an ethical manner. Requirements

  • High school diploma is required, associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Previous experience in a customer service position is required
  • Pleasant personality and excellent customer service skills
  • Data entry/keyboarding and organizational skills required
  • Highly motivated previous gaming and supervisory experience a plus
  • Must be detail oriented
  • Must be able to type 25 WPM
  • Literate and fluent in English (bilingual is a plus)
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to handle adverse or stressful situations with tact, diplomacy, and understanding
  • Must present a well-groomed image
  • Team player
