The range listed reflects the entire range and typical placement is entry to mid range. Pay Range - $15.16/hr - $18/hr Position Purpose Ensures driving range golf balls are clean, stocked, and readily available for customer use. Represents the facility professionally as a marshal/starter by managing tee time efficiency and enforcing course rules to enhance the player experience. Essential Job Functions MARSHAL/STARTER: General Statement of Duties: Performs starter duties on tee box. Acts as marshal on course and helps out in any area requested by the supervisor. Starts golfers and checks turn times. Patrols golf courses to ensure patrons maintain pace of play and follow rules. Stages golf carts as needed. Communicates in a friendly, responsive and professional manner to customers and co-workers. Cleans and maintains exterior restrooms and water stations. Frequently operates a personal or City-owned motor vehicle to drive to and from work locations throughout the City. Other Job Functions Performs other duties as assigned. Knowledge Skills and Abilities Ability to use good judgment. Ability to work independently. Ability to maintain a clean and neat appearance. Ability to maintain adequate attendance. Ability to follow instructions.   • A valid Colorado driver’s license and acceptable driving record is required
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Moderate to considerable physical effort that includes working from ladders in awkward positions
  • Frequent use of light or medium weight objects (e.g., 25-50 lbs.) and use of medium weight tools
  • Marginal to moderate exposure to conditions that are unpredictable and may lead to injury
  • Regular exposure to heat and noise along with working outside in the elements

  • Related Previous golf course experience preferred.
