About The Position

iTech is seeking a ServiceNow Platform Administrator with 3 plus years of administration experience to lead the stand up and ongoing administration of a new ServiceNow instance supporting HAM SAM and ITOM modules. This role focuses on platform setup, configuration, integrations, governance, and structured testing. The selected candidate will establish the foundational platform, implement standard integrations including LDAP and SSO, configure out of the box capabilities, support testing practices through Automated Test Framework, and ensure long term platform stability and scalability. This is a hands on administrative role responsible for ensuring the platform is properly configured, tested, and operational from day one.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of ServiceNow administration experience
  • Experience setting up or supporting a new ServiceNow instance
  • Hands on experience with LDAP integration
  • Hands on experience configuring SSO authentication
  • Experience installing and maintaining MID Servers
  • Familiarity with HAM SAM or ITOM modules at an administrative level
  • Experience using Automated Test Framework
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • ServiceNow CSA
  • Pursuant to government contracts, US Citizenship is required
  • Ability to obtain and maintain public trust clearance

  • Experience supporting greenfield implementations
  • ITIL v4 Foundation certification
  • ServiceNow CIS in HAM SAM or ITOM
  • Experience working with procurement asset management or IT operations teams

Responsibilities

  • Stand up a new ServiceNow instance
  • Configure core system settings including users, roles, groups, access controls, and system properties
  • Establish environment strategy across development, test, and production
  • Configure LDAP integration for user provisioning
  • Implement SSO authentication using SAML or OAuth
  • Install and maintain MID Servers
  • Configure standard out of the box workflows and module settings
  • Configure and administer Hardware Asset Management lifecycle settings
  • Configure Software Asset Management normalization and compliance features
  • Deploy and administer ITOM Discovery and CMDB population
  • Maintain CMDB data integrity and governance controls
  • Ensure alignment with ServiceNow leading practices
  • Develop and execute structured testing plans for platform changes
  • Configure and maintain Automated Test Framework test suites
  • Support regression testing prior to releases and upgrades
  • Partner with stakeholders to coordinate user acceptance testing
  • Validate integrations including LDAP SSO and Discovery
  • Document testing results and ensure audit readiness
  • Maintain instance health, performance, and security
  • Manage role based access controls
  • Support upgrades and patching activities
  • Create documentation, standards, and runbooks
  • Establish governance and change management processes
  • Partner with IT, Security, Procurement, and Operations stakeholders
  • Establish update set and release management processes
  • Other duties as assigned
