About The Position

Plastics Thermoforming Operations Technologist Your mission: elevate thermoforming performance—from startup to steady-state—while keeping safety, quality, and documentation uncompromised. Mission objectives Partner with the Process Team Leader to diagnose and resolve persistent processing problems. Support setup activities and help bring lines into repeatable production conditions. Engage with corporate engineers on new product development efforts and execute R&D trial requests. Drive continuous quality improvement through established programs and disciplined follow-up. Apply expert insight into material behavior within the thermoforming process to optimize parameters. Assist with start-up of new equipment, providing hands-on process support. Own the accuracy and currency of process definition sheets and the tracking system. Operate thermoforming equipment and related peripherals; perform adjustments with basic hand tools. Maintain a high level of technical proficiency cultivated through practical experience and on-the-job training. Capture, record, and maintain required process and quality information. Contribute in additional areas as needed. Capabilities you’ll leverage Safety Leadership: Active participation in all company safety programs, policies, and procedures. Project Management: Provide direction and support during project introductions with Manufacturing; strong understanding of the NPD process.
