About The Position

Join ConMet Canton as a Plastics Molding & Finishing Production Technician. In this role, you will work on the production floor in Canton, reviewing work instructions, gearing up, and ensuring precision parts move efficiently through the Molding and Finishing Department. You will be responsible for ensuring every component meets ConMet's standards before it ships, working either a day or night schedule.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED strongly preferred.
  • At least 12 months of related manufacturing experience and/or training.
  • Comfort using a computer and operating a labeling scan gun.

Responsibilities

  • Follow detailed work instructions to assemble parts, inspect quality, apply labels, and securely package finished goods.
  • Document production counts and scrap accurately so the team has real-time performance data.
  • Hit daily production targets while upholding quality and throughput standards.
  • Keep your workstation organized and clean to support safe, efficient work.
  • Escalate unresolved part or equipment issues to your lead or supervisor promptly.
  • Work safely—adhere to all safety and environmental procedures across the plant.
