About The Position

Own the Cell. Drive Results. Why This Role Lead a high-performing production cell producing automotive interior components Build a safety-first culture and uphold rigorous quality standards Coach associates, optimize changeovers, and keep materials flowing with Kanban Contribute to continuous improvement through 5S and preventative maintenance The Essentials Schedule: 2nd Shift, 3:00PM–11:00PM Reports to: Molding Supervisor Location: Battle Creek, MI Pay: $23.16/hour (DOE) + $2.00 shift premium What You’ll Tackle Lead by example; enforce all safety guidelines and procedures Deliver orientation and hands-on training to production associates Inspect parts to standard; reinforce quality guidelines at the machine Partner with team members to troubleshoot quality and throughput issues Perform changeovers and routine preventative maintenance on equipment Identify material types; ensure adherence to the Kanban system Complete department paperwork, maintain required training, and sustain 5S Qualifications Demonstrated ability to work safely and follow all safety rules and regulations High School Diploma or GED; minimum 2 years of manufacturing experience Strong attention to detail; able to manage tasks and projects on schedule Proficiency Experience in a Manufacturing Environment Basic Computer Skills Life at Motus Motus Integrated Technologies is a fast-growing, half-billion-dollar global supplier of high-performance headliners, interior trim, and fiber solutions for the automotive industry.
