Responsibilities

Receives instructions from the Extrusion Operator.
Understands equipment and can continue production in absence of the operator.
Helps train the take-off man and Packagers.
Starts up all lines.
Restarts equipment after a power failure.
Adjust dies and corrugator as necessary to manufacture pipe within specifications.
Performs in-process quality control tests to ensure pipe and fittings are within specifications.
Monitors equipment and performs minor maintenance as well as assists maintenance personnel when necessary.
Continually train with the Extrusion Operator and assist as necessary.
Operate all extrusion and molding production equipment in automatic and manual modes.
Maintains work area and equipment in clean, orderly conditions.
Other duties assigned.
