Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Welding plastics using hot air welding techniques to create products such as chemical cabinets and other specialized cabinetry. General cabinet-making skills with plastic sheets and other materials. Work safely with machining equipment, including mills, lathes, and drills. Maintain a safe work environment in your area and throughout the shop. Read and interpret design drawings and instructions. Perform work at times in a cleanroom environment with PPE.

Requirements

Experience with carpentry shop tools, including table saws, table routers, drill presses, joiners, chop saws, jig saws, etc.
Ability to read a measuring tape accurately.
Ability to read blueprints and drawings, and have the ability to build products based on those schematics.

Nice To Haves

Experience with plastic welding of various types of plastic, using hot air welding in the shop or portable in the field.
Previous Teflon welding experience.
