About The Position

PLASTIC TECHNICIAN position available at a 44,000sf non-climate controlled manufacturing warehouse with approx. 30 employees producing urethane parts from raw materials. The Plastic Technician will perform manual labor in our safe, clean, organized, and well-ventilated warehouse. Extensive training will be provided. JOB DUTIES: Produce plastic parts according to detailed work instructions Weighing, mixing, and heating liquid resins accurately and safely Pouring and heating molds in ovens Handling hot molds in and out of ovens Handle 5 gallon pails of liquid material Meet daily quotas and record daily progress on activity reports Maintain a clean and safe work area Extensive training provided REQUIREMENTS: Excellent Attendance a must Previous warehouse experience preferred Basic math skills Lift/Carry up to 50 lbs Walk/Stand/Stoop/Bend for 8-10 hours/day Work well in a team environment Good communication Follow guidelines & procedures Attentive to detail Reliable transportation High School diploma or equivalent Pre-employment drug and background screening HOURS: Monday – Thursday: 7:00am to 5:30pm Friday: As needed – Must be available to work Friday 30 minute lunch and two 15 minute breaks at 10:00am & 3:00pm 40 hrs – Plus potential overtime Colson Group reserves the right to change or add to these duties and/or requirements as determined by Management.
