About The Position
Come Build Trailers with Us! Starting at $22.01/hr The compensation for this position will be determined by the candidate's level of experience. We understand that each individual's unique background and expertise will contribute differently to our team. Monday-Thursday 10 hour shifts, with the possibility of overtime on Fridays Essential Functions of the Job: Frequently operate plasma cutter to fabricate steel sheets of metal Occasionally uses handheld plasma cutting torch to hand cut sheets Frequently lifts and carries 50-lbs of scrap to the scrap bin Occasionally use a two-man lift of material weighing more than 50-lbs Frequently use hand and power tools to saw, bend cut or drill from materials Occasionally operate a powered industrial truck to move materials and equipment Frequently operate an overhead crane and/or hoist to load/unload material by pushing/pulling as the load is suspended Perform preventive maintenance Requires constant standing, occasional stooping to retrieve various metals from a table and carry to plasma table Frequent forward reach Requirements Job Knowledge, Education and Experience: Proficient with hand tools Able to read blueprints Self-motivated Safety conscious Good attendance record Attention to detail Time management skills Must be willing to work overtime when necessary Benefits About Manac: Manac Trailers, USA is the 7th largest trailer manufacturer in North America.
